THE POST NOW IN PRODUCTION

Production on Kyle Thomas’ new film The Post is now underway! This film tells the story of Bob, an RCMP officer stationed in rural Alberta during World War II as he struggles to nurture a long-distance relationship with Mae, his sweetheart back in Ontario. The Post offers a portrait of love and longing, passion and sacrifice, depicted during a defining period in Canadian history.

We are very excited to be shooting this project in the Calgary and Drumheller areas with a fantastic cast and crew, and the generous support of the Alberta Foundation for the Arts. Reprising their collaboration on Kyle’s award-winning short film Not Far From The Abattoir (2011), NCC’s Cameron Macgowan and Alexander Carson are working as Producer and Cinematographer, respectively.
